Counseling Fees:
Session Duration: Counseling sessions typically last for 50 minutes.
Standard Fee: The fee for a standard individual counseling session is $120.
Couples Counseling: For couples counseling sessions, the fee is $140 per session.
Longer Sessions: Longer sessions are offered to couples for a slightly increased fee, available upon request.
Insurance Coverage: Some employer benefit plans provide coverage for counselling fees, please contact your employer for plan details. Please note that the plan must cover services provided by Registered Social Workers.
Sliding Scale Subsidies: Subsidies are available on a sliding scale for clients who may not have the means to afford standard rates. This will be discussed during the initial consultation or session.
Free Consultation: A complimentary 15-minute phone consultation is available to prospective clients.
Payment: All fees are due at the time of each appointment unless sessions have been paid for in advance. Acceptable forms of payment include:
- Cheques
- E-transfers
- Credit cards
- Cash
- Most insurance plans
Insurance Reimbursement: Please note that some insurance plans require clients to pay session fees upfront, before reimbursement by the insurance provider. Review your insurance policy for details.
E-Transfer Payment: Also note that payment by e-transfer is due prior to each session and you may be charged a service fee by your bank.
Cancellation Policy:
Notice: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is appreciated for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellation/Missed Appointment Fee: Failure to provide 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or missed appointments may result in a cancellation/missed appointment fee. This fee must be paid before the commencement of the next scheduled session.
